MetaCOP27 was launched as a satellite event at COP27. It was the first time in the history of COP Conferences that an event had been organised using immersive 3D virtual reality technology.
The MetaCOP27 virtual pavilion hosted a hybrid conference and presentations of companies. Visitors from 32 countries and all continents attended the virtual event.
